PROSPECTS Video 1

Actually, since I met this community, my life started to change. So, I would say that before I made all the sacrifices, but I wasn’t really stable. But knowing the community and this great professor, they always gave me help and then things started to change. Then, I also got my driving license in 2018. Then I did, within the community, the course of European intercultural mediator, so now I am a mediator. And even before that, in December with the community we used to prepare and serve meals to help the homeless. We used to go and distribute food to them in the street. So, this was also a very nice experience that gave me so much hope and so much goodness. I always want to help, because I have had help, I would like to give more, I want to give a lot too, I don’t just want to receive. So, I would like to study to become someone important and to be able to give a lot, not only to my country but also to Italy. I want to give to the country that saved me and I want to show people that I am happy that you saved me. I would like to do so much for this community that has truly given so much to us. Little by little we are managing to do the little things. This year I’ll finish my studies, I’ll take my high school diploma and I’ll also train as a socio-healthcare worker, as I only have to pass the final exam.

Perciò vorrei studiare, per poter diventare qualcuno e poter dare tanto, non soltanto dare al mio Paese, ma anche dare all’Italia. Voglio dare al Paese che mi ha salvato, alle persone voglio fare vedere che sono contento che mi avete salvato. Io vorrei fare tanto per questa comunità, che veramente ha dato tanto a noi. Mano a mano, stiamo riuscendo a fare le piccole cose. Quest’anno finisco gli studi, faccio la maturità e faccio anche la formazione come operatore socio-sanitario e mi manca solo l’esame.

Veramente da quando ho conosciuto questa comunità la mia vita è iniziata a cambiare. Quindi io direi che prima facevo tutti i sacrifici però non ero veramente stabile. Però conoscendo la comunità e questo grande professore, sempre mi hanno dato una mano e poi le cose hanno iniziato a cambiare. Poi ho fatto anche la patente nel 2018, poi ho fatto con la comunità sempre il corso di intermediatore culturale europeo, quindi sono un mediatore. E anche prima di questo noi facevamo in dicembre con la comunità, facevamo la preparazione dei pasti il venerdì per aiutare i senza tetto. Andavamo a distribuire cibo a loro per strada. E quindi anche questa è stata un’esperienza molto bella che mi ha dato tanta speranza e tanta bontà. Io vorrei sempre aiutare, perché ho avuto aiuto, io vorrei dare di più, voglio tanto dare anche io, non voglio solo ricevere. Perciò vorrei studiare per poter diventare qualcuno e poter dare tanto, non soltanto dare al mio paese ma anche dare all’Italia. Voglio dare al paese che mi ha salvato e alle persone voglio fare vedere che sono contento che mi avete salvato. Io vorrei fare tanto per questa comunità che veramente ha dato tanto a noi.
