You consider that Italy however has a free school system accessible to all, which is not taken for granted, a free health care accessible to all, which is not taken for granted at all, and a welfare system that is an extremely protective welfare. It’s a welfare where there’s the possibility of public housing, there’s the possibility, you know… so it’s not so obvious, there. It is a system which, unfortunately, is a little bit based on welfarism, and this is also a little bit convenient in some situations rather than other systems, which may guarantee better benefits but which also require, in short, a different commitment.

Tu fai conto che l’Italia comunque ha un sistema scolastico accessibile a tutti, che non è scontato, ha una sanità pubblica, anche quella gratuita, accessibile a tutti e anche un welfare estremamente tutelante. C’è per esempio la possibilità di avere delle case pubbliche, questo non è per niente scontato. È un sistema che però, purtroppo, è un po’ tarato  sull’assistenzialismo… questo in alcune situazioni può far comodo rispetto ad altri sistemi che magari ti garantiscono benefit migliori però con un impegno maggiore.

Tu fai conto che l’Italia ha comunque un sistema scolastico gratuito accessibile a tutti, che non è scontato, una sanità gratuita e accessibile a tutti, che non è affatto scontato, e un sistema di welfare che è un welfare estremamente tutelante. È un welfare dove c’è la possibilità di avere delle case pubbliche, c’è la possibilità, insomma… quindi non è così scontato, ecco. È un sistema che purtroppo è un pochino tarato sull’assistenzialismo, e anche questo fa un pochino comodo in alcune situazioni piuttosto che altri sistemi, che magari garantiscono benefit migliori ma che richiedono anche, insomma, un impegno diverso.
